As a teenager I started suffering with several symptoms like weight loss, nausea, fatigue, nutritional deficiencies and bloating. As time went on in my late teens be symptoms became more and more severe. I was also diagnosed with several life threatening allergies to soy and some tree nuts. After 7 years of full body symptoms I was finally diagnosed with celiac disease. After my diagnosis it wasn't smooth sailing, about a year later I had a viral infection that caused swelling in my brain and spinal cord leading to nerve and brain damage. After that I had hit rock bottom and knew that I couldn't afford to keep being so unhealthy. I was eating a strict gluten free diet, but it wasn't healthy.
So I decided to pick myself up, dust myself off and change my life. I was determined not to live my life as it was. I discovered which foods made me feel my best and how to fit fitness into my life despite my limitations. Slowly but surely I felt better and better, I still have symptoms but they're very manageable, I no longer feel like my life is controlled by my poor health.
This is why I decided to start this website and became a holistic nutritionist. I learned what suffering with a chronic condition is like and how much a healthy lifestyle can make al the difference.
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit. I’m thrilled we’re connected and I’m excited for the journey ahead!
